Dr. Erin Policelli, PT, DPT
Dr. Policelli is the founder & owner of STRETCH Kinetics Studios in Atlanta. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from LA College in 1998, she worked as an RN in the Pediatric Department at Woman's & Children's Hospital in Lafayette, LA & in the NICU at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
In 2002, she graduated from Duke University as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). She received her first certification in STRETCH Therapy from the Stretch to Win Institute in 2004. With over 17 years as a Physical Therapist & over 15 years of STRETCH experience, she has obtained numerous certifications including Level 2 Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST), Level 1 TPI Certified Golf Professional & Functional Range Conditioning Therapist (FRC). Erin has worked with high level executives as well as high level athletes, including former NBA player Charles Barkley, former Atlanta Falcons player Keith Brooking & former Atlanta Falcons & New Orleans Saint's player Curtis Lofton.
Erin has extensive experience in Woman's Health Physical Therapy, working first at the Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA & then at the Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston, TX. She has helped countless woman overcome pain & dysfunction in areas of pre & postnatal therapy, SI dysfunction, pelvic pain, & pediatric & adult incontinence. Erin also has extensive experience treating diagnoses in the general orthopedic population.
After moving to Atlanta in 2007, Erin began focusing on helping people avoid the need for medical intervention by offering wellness services that include Education, STRETCH, Manual & Mobility Therapy (including core training & myofascial release). She incorporated STRETCH Therapy into her therapy practice in 2004, well ahead of the current “STRETCH Studio fad”. Her current clients include professionals who have been seeing her weekly for over 12 years; solidifying her as one of the top STRETCH Therapist in North America.

Chris Manella, PT, LMT
Chris Manella has been active in healthcare for over 28 years. She earned her Physical Therapy degree in 1991 from the University of Connecticut, completed her Massage training in 1999 & Hands on Seminars Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy in 2010. She is also a Fascial Stretch Therapist™ & certified in Pilates through Balanced Body. Chris has worked with a wide variety of clients with orthopedic & neurological conditions of all ages. She is active in research in both the Physical & Massage Therapy fields contributing to scientific abstracts, manuscripts & continuing education course work. Like Dr. Policelli, the certifications that Chris has achieved since 1991 are too numerous to list.
Chris’s emphasis in bodywork is to restore natural equilibrium. She incorporates multiple modalities such as STRETCH Therapy, strain/counterstrain, trigger point & myofascial release to promote structural balance & restore postural alignment to reduce tension & stress. Combining Manual Therapy, Pilates & STRETCH Therapy for optimal client outcomes is her aspiration .
Marisa Downey, LMT
Marisa Downey is a native Atlantan & Kennesaw State graduate. She started her work in 2012 as a personal trainer Certified in Orthopedic & Joint Health by the American Council on Exercise & in 2013 became a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Instructor. After teaching clients in small group & one-on-one classes, Marisa began to recognize the benefits touch had on students’ abilities to release muscle tension & find proper balance in postures. This lead her to continue her education. She is now a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Fascial Stretch Therapist™ (FST) as well as a Level 1 TPI Certified Golf Professional.
Marisa combines her skills as a Massage & STRETCH Therapist with her Yoga experience to provide STRETCH, Manual & Mobility Therapy. The combination of these 3 skill sets helps her to assist in relieving tension, reducing stress on the muscles & joints, & facilitating new neuromuscular mobility patterns for her clients.
